Fisher-Price The Sing-A-Ma-Jigs – Purple Review

In response the only other review I think if it was moaning it was because the batteries were low. That has been my experience with these. Otherwise they are cute and you can hear what they say fine. They have 3 functions but the one harmonizing notes with other Singamajigs is so so cute. You press one and it starts on a note and when you press the other doll, it changes pitch to be in harmony. Really cute idea and one that has intrigued all the kids in my house from 4 to 17. I think even the 17 yo and myself played with them more!

The pink, mint green, and purple characters in this collection are great! They’re cute – they harmonize well and are generally fun. BUT the blue one is OUT OF TUNE from the rest. If you know music, pink, green and purple are in a key that’s a half step higher than blue. If you don’t know music, this means that when you play the blue toys with the others, it sounds less like the Beach Boys and more like a few children playing violin for the first time – not so pleasing to the ears. Enjoy the other three, but avoid the light blue.
